Google has developed a terrific resource for Banned Books Week, which officially started yesterday: check out their Banned Books resource page. Also, don't miss the American Library Association's Banned Books Week page, which is up and running all year long.Both pages have lists of banned and challenged books, along with the reasons that these books were challenged or taken off of the shelves. You can find a lot of these books right here at Carmichael Library, so check one out this week and celebrate your freedom to read!
